#VIRTUAL DISPLAY MANAGER OVERLAP SOFTWARE#
FYI I have been using GridMove which is also very handy and Dextop for multiple desktops for years which is also a great software for productivity. DisplayLink Manager is an application for owners of products powered by DisplayLink technology. You can create any grid you would like and if the window or video is inside that grid and you go fullscreen video or maximize the window, it stays inside that grid. It makes Windows think you have multiple monitors, virtual offcourse. If you have a large screen and you dont want video or any app to take up the whole. If you use a chrome extension like windowed, you still get the browser tabs on the top, not fully immersive. It's the ultimate system for those working on secret documents. But I got a 49 inch monitor so now when maximized it covers the whole screen, no good. Apple's invention now covers new features for a future Head Mounted Display system that works with a physical slate with virtual keys. I used to have 3 monitors and I would just put the video on one screen and maximize(full screen), no problem. If you have a large screen and you don't want video or any app to take up the whole monitor when you maximize but just the pre designated areas like they were seperate monitors, like when you are watching youtube or netflix.
